Terms of service

Build note: structural placeholder. Have these reviewed by a solicitor before launch — particularly the proof-of-ownership and cancellation clauses, and the Consumer Contracts Regulations cancellation rights that apply to work arranged off-premises.

Quotes and pricing

Prices quoted on the phone are all-in: call-out, cutting, programming and VAT. The quoted figure is the figure invoiced. Where the vehicle turns out to differ materially from what was described, we will stop and re-quote before doing any work — you are free to decline at that point at no cost.

Proof of ownership

We require photo identification and the V5C logbook, or a lease or hire agreement in your name, before cutting or programming any key. This is not negotiable. If ownership cannot be established we will not carry out the work, and no charge is made.

Warranty

Keys, fobs and workmanship are warranted for twelve months from the date of the invoice. The warranty covers failure of the part or of our programming. It does not cover physical damage, water damage, or subsequent faults in the vehicle’s own electronics.

Payment

Payment is due on completion, by card, contactless or cash. Trade and fleet accounts may be invoiced net-30.

Liability

We carry £2m public liability insurance. Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
